ISSUES, a metalcore band comprised of two vocalists from what was known as Woe, Is Me have released the first song off their upcoming album titled “Headspace” today on YouTube titled ‘The Realest.’ Fans all across the world rejoiced after they pushed the album back earlier this year and went dark for quite some time. ‘The Realest’ appears to be the band’s first attempt to jump on the whole softer rock train that has been taking off in the metalcore/post-hardcore scene lately. It features elements of electronic music, which should be no surprise to anyone seeing as their DJ, Scout has always been adding that to their music since the first EP titled “Black Diamonds.” It also features a lot more clean vocals than usual from the beloved singer Tyler Carter and a lot less of the whole metalcore feel. ISSUES had said a few months back in an interview that this album would be a lot different than anything we had heard out of them before. Could this type of change be permanent? I guess the only way to really find out is to wait for a newer single and the album which will release worldwide on May 20th
