I’m Cesar. Most of the time you can find me posted at my couch playing Dark Souls or on my guitar, ripping off whatever band I’m obsessed with that week. I also would very much like to be a writer or a teacher one day, so I go to university at Southern Connecticut State for English as well as for Secondary Education. If I really had to pick a favorite genre, I’d probably choose metalcore, but I also enjoy metal, hardcore, emo, etc.
Though always surrounded by music, Alex Brown became heavily invested in it back in 2010, when he first listened to “Colors” by Between the Buried and Me. Other than being a music critic, he also a creative writer, writing stories on his own website, The Blackbelt Nihilist. His other hobbies including playing video games such as the Paper Mario and Kingdom Hearts series, and watching cartoons and anime, with favorites being BoJack Horseman and Neon Genesis Evangelion
Besides eating, sleeping, and converting oxygen into carbon dioxide, music is very much my life. I currently play drums for Brunettes and Intercourse and have recorded multiple instruments for Vouroborus and Eave. I spend my free time digging through tags on Bandcamp trying to find as many bands and sounds as possible. Though my taste in music is at its base hardcore and metal, I find it very easy to dig or at least appreciate some artists in all forms of music.
Alex is 20 and listens to a wide range of metal and punk. He collects vinyl, tries making noisy music, is always finding new shows to watch, trying to keep up with movie releases, and plays the same few games Steam while waiting for the new releases to drop in price or go on sale. Currently considers his favorite albums; Villains (Yüth Forever) - 10 Code, My Ticket Home - Strangers Only, and Cult Leader - Lightless Walk.
Brian is 24 and an avid writer, reader, and collector of music and movies. Someday, he will publish his novel. He considers himself a horror movie buff and a bit of a metal guru with his taste tending toward the heavier-than-thou, but he is cursed with a soft spot for the nu-metal of yore.
